We are looking for a number of people who can lead our target sports sessions as instructors for our customers, what we do is provide opportunities for people to try their hand at axe throwing, archery and other target sports We are looking for lively and proactive people to join our team, training will be given where appropriate. About the company: | Target Sports World is a small but fast-growing company offering target sports experiences and training to members of the public. |
Job purpose: | To manage sessions of activities as directed and to follow the appropriate lesson plan. |
Key responsibilities: | To review daily the bookings and to enter them onto a day sheet. To inspect and prepare equipment for the session in a timely fashion and to pack away at the end of a session. To lead activity sessions safely and in accordance with the lesson plan To support customers to ensure they have a great time. To undertake any equipment repairs that they are trained in. To report any equipment needs to a manager prior to it becoming critical To enter into the till any payments that are taken. To report any unsafe practices observed. To undertake training as required. To provide first aid in the first instance of an accident. To undertake cleaning duties as appropriate. To review all relevant risk assessments regularly. To undertake any other duties that may be deemed appropriate. |
Person specification | Excellent written and communication skills. Detail-orientated with exceptional organisational skills. Minimum age of 21 to conform to the Firearms Act. To be able to pass in-depth veracity police checks. |
Pay for this post is £10:50 per hour whilst training (150 hours) rising to £14 per hour. Training will be provided for the appropriate person.
