Is it real guns?
Yes our Live Fire and Speed Shooting activity uses real gun and real bullets.
What sort of live fire guns do you use?
For the live fire we use Tippmann arms M4 or the Smith and Wesson M&P 1522
What sort of bullets do the Live Fire guns shoot?
The calibre is a .22LR
How many bullets do we get?
For the Live fire each shooter is allocated 50 bullets, for the speed shooting each shooter is allocated 70 Bullets.
Can we buy more bullets?
Yes if there is time left and the instructor is happy for you too. At the end of your session you can buy additional bullets at the rate of £20 for 50 Bullets.
Can we shoot pistols?
Not at Target Sports World, the current law does not allow for individuals without personal fire arms certificate to shoot pistols in the UK.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes all activities have a minimum age of 11 years old of a height of 4ft 6 Inches, this is to make sure that they young people are big enough to handle the equipment safely. The live fire and speed shooting has a minimum age of 14 and a height of 5ft
Do you have parking?
Yes we have a spaces across the front of our range and down the side of the building, we also have a car park please look out for the signage as you arrive.
What sort of compound bows do you use?
We use the Genesis® standard compound bows, with adjustable pull weights.
Can I bring my air gun?
Not at the moment, sorry.
What sort of airsoft guns do you use?
We use HPA airsoft guns, these run of air tanks for a more consist shooting experience.
Can we bring our own airsoft guns?
You may. Just let our instructors know when you arrive.
What sort of guns do you use on your airgun range?
We use pre-charged rifles and Co2 pistols.
Can we cancel or reschedule the booking if we are going to be late?
As per our terms and conditions, we require seven days’ notice to cancel or reschedule events. Same day cancellations cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
What time should I arrive?
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes early and be aware that sat nav’s and mapping apps such as Waze and google maps do frequently underestimate the time it takes to get here.
What’s a digital/interactive axe range?
A digital axe range is one that has projected images, sone of them moving that are the targets, it then records your score on a screen and displays it.
Do you do group bookings?
Yes, we can arrange group bookings just call or email in and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How long is each session?
Each session is allocated a one-hour slot with 15 minutes between slots for reset breaks.
Can we bring spectators?
Space is limited; we can accommodate occasional spectators. Please get in touch in advanced.
Do you have food to purchase?
We offer savoury party platters which can be ordered in advanced. Other snacks such as cakes, chocolate bars and crips can be purchased on site. Alongside soft drinks.
Do you sell alcohol?
We are an alcohol-free site. Anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to take part in any activities.
Why can’t I book for just one person?
As part of our security protocols, we require that at least two individuals who are familiar with each other attend and participant in each activity. This provides an added layer of support should any issues arise.
